Mice & Rats Problems?

Mice and Rats

Mice are small rodents which can multiply rapidly. They feed on stored products, bathroom accessories, and bird and lawn seed. You will most likely find their droppings where they are foraging for food. Droppings are small, black, oval shaped and about the size of a grain of rice. Mice love to dwell in kitchens, pantries, bathrooms, attics, garages, cabinets, and closets. Mice dwell in an area closest to their food source. Mice can live in attics and crawl spaces for long periods of time. This can lead to odor problems and other property damage.

Rats are rodents which will nest in man-made structures. Roof Rats are excellent climbers and prefer to live in attics or cabinets. They can scale most surfaces and may access your property by climbing up brick, stucco or wood siding. Once on the roof, they will find any small route of entry. Vents to bathrooms, gable vents, spaces around soffits, exhaust pipe holes, and spaces between facia boards provide easy access for roof rats. If there is no easy access a rat will simply chew an opening in.
